Denver School of Metal Arts

Tom has been a lapidary and jeweler for more than forty years.  Kay, the beneficiary of his creations over the years, eventually yielded to the lure of creating jewelry and joined Tom in the workshop.  In January 2002 they became Contributing Editors of the monthly column, “Ask The Experts,” for Lapidary Journal Jewelry Artist.  In addition, they have had many articles and step-by-step projects published by the magazine over the years.  Together, they have been teaching lapidary and metalsmithing workshops for over 15 years for The Florida Society of Goldsmiths in Florida and at Wild Acres in Little Switzerland, N.C., Gem & Mineral Societies in Florida and The Visual Arts Center in Punta Gorda, Florida; at William Holland School of Lapidary Arts, Young Harris, Georgia; and Creative Side Jewelry Academy, Austin, Texas.
