Resin is an amazing way to add color to your work & you won’t believe the limitless possibilities. If you’ve taken my resin workshops before, you won’t want to miss this one! The world of resin and plastics is ever expanding as the cost of metal rises.
Day One: I will show you everything I know about coloring resin and we will spend some time goofing off to get the feel for pouring & mixing & curing. We will also build back-less sterling silver bezels to fill with color!
Day Two: This is where your objects will take flight, now that you’ve explored the basics, you will have total studio freedom to go wild with your new skills. I will demonstrate drilling, sanding, rivets, multiple layering & what to do when things go wrong! You will never have resin failures again.
Students will be required to purchase a $40 class kit which includes resin, hardener, stir sticks, mixing cups, toothpicks, and an assortment of materials to start us off on the right foot!
