In this 8 hour workshop students will learn the techniques needed to successfully create unique rings that incorporate basic PMC ring making skills with the skills to create just about any type of ring style desired. Students will build on techniques learned in the Beginning PMC class to add a beautiful CZ stone to the ring they will build, finish and go home with. This project will take all day to learn and will have clean lines and a contemporary look. It will look like it has been cast or metalsmithed. Once learned and practiced, students can expect to be able to make 6-8 rings in a day.
This class facilitates hands on for the optimal success of each student in class. Rings will be kiln fired. Students will receive instruction on torch firing a ring and information on the various finishing options, patinas and the use of a vibratory tumbler, if desired.
