Open Studio Guidelines

Denver School of Metal Arts offers Open Studio Time to our students. Open Studios are available to any student of ours who is able to work independently.

 These open studios are unguided, meaning you will be working on your own. Proper safety, knowledge and use of machinery and torches are required.

Our regular Open Studio time is 10am – 2pm Mon - Thurs

Cost for open studio is $25 for four hours, cash or check only!

Space is reserved by calling Jenny (the school admin) and scheduling a time.

*Please call ahead for scheduling. We occasionally have multiple classes going on at the same time, which limits our open studio space.

 These Open Studio times are a wonderful opportunity for students to have a place to work on their projects, and practice what they have learned in class while being able to use the jeweler's benches, soldering stations (bring your own solder),  flex shafts, and buffers. Students are required to bring all their own tools and materials needed to work on projects.

Students are asked to clean up their work areas including wiping down the soldering stations when each work time has ended and to please be packed up on time.
